About Colleen C. Wilcox

​​​​​​Colleen Wilcox is a second-generation real estate professional, a Fortune Magazine Award winner for Top Client Satisfaction and a 5-Star Agent as declared by Chicago Magazine for almost a decade running. Apart from having her realtor’s license, Colleen is a Certified Negotiation Specialist. She also received her BA from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame and continued pursuing her education at Northwestern University, where she received her Master’s degree.  

Colleen grew up with a mother known for being the best realtor in their small town. Her father, a farmer, sold land and ran a commodity office. Real estate has always been in Colleen’s blood, so it felt like a natural fit for her. 

Today, she primarily serves the communities of Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, and Oak Brook while occasionally working with clients in Clarendon Hills, Willowbrook, LaGrange, Downers Grove, and the Western Suburbs of Chicago from LaGrange to Naperville and the Gold Coast. Most of her clients are move-up buyers, people looking to downsize or right-size, and first-time buyers. 

Part of what attracted Colleen to the industry was the opportunity to help people make their dreams come true and assist them in significant life transitions. Her clients appreciate her straightforward, data-driven approach and her kind, charming persona. Colleen is very much a people person. She easily connects with her clients and works hard to ensure they meet their goals. Regardless of what’s happening during the transaction, Colleen is diligent about keeping her clients informed so they can make the best decision for themselves and their families. 

Before she got involved in real estate, Colleen outlined Illinois’ Early Intervention Law for children. Attorneys later adapted her draft, and she was part of the team that won an international award for including people with disabilities in their communities. Colleen prides herself on treating every person with the same amount of dignity and respect, no matter what.

Colleen keeps herself busy outside of work with her philanthropic endeavors. She is the President of D181 Elementary School Foundation and a past trustee of the Hinsdale Historical Society. In her downtime, Colleen likes to do pilates and hone her green thumb at the Hinsdale Garden Club! She also enjoys spending time with her husband, Will Wilcox, and their adult daughter who currently lives in Dallas with her husband.
